Antwerp restaurants bag prizes in new Gault&Millau edition

On 7 November, the new 2023 Gault&Millau Belux was presented. Several Antwerp restaurants won awards. ​ For example, chef Nick Bril of The Jane  restaurant was voted 'chef of the year'. ​ The JaneZilte and Fine Fleur all saw their overall scores improve. Nicolas Misera opened restaurant Misera on Nieuw Zuid as recently as August and became one of the year's top newcomers. TAZU, tucked away in the Vlaeykensgang and styled by Axel Vervoordt, was voted 'cocktail bar of the year'. Chef Aiko Linssen's restaurant The Finch received a POP award for best Flemish casual dining location. ​
